Left to right, Mergime Morina (17) and Etrita Abdullahu (15), two ballet students of The Kosovo Ballet. The Kosovo Ballet is the national ballet from Republic of Kosovo. The first troupe was formed in 1972, but later it was banned during the years of conflict by the Serbian authority. In 2001, after many years of absence, the first generation of the Kosovo Ballet returned to the stage, while at the same time the High School of Ballet were restored. In 2005 the first class graduated.
