A broken car at the old city of Yazd. Located in the middle of the desert in Central Iran; Yazd is arguably one of the oldest living city in the world. Yazd was visited by Marco Polo in 1272; who described it as a good and noble city and remarked its silk production. The name Yazd means worship.
