A sandalwood horse, used for Pasola, is tied to a Sumba traditional house at the village of Wainyapu. Pasola, the mock warfare between two villages, is held annually within the western region of the remote Indonesian island of Sumba. There will be blood, but in the hope for a good upcoming harvest, Sumbanese sees any bloodshed as a good sign.
