Three domestic tourist enjoy a clear late afternoon at the old city of Yazd. Located in the middle of the desert in Central Iran, Yazd is arguably one of the oldest living city in the world. Yazd was visited by Marco Polo in 1272, who described it as a good and noble city and remarked its silk production. The name Yazd means worship. And badgir, visible in the upper right corner of the picture, is one of distinctive feature of this city.
